Come Spring

2017
vellum, basswood, bulb safety pins, parawire, eyehooks
145"w x 145"d x 135"h

Farnsworth Art Museum’s Collective {BASH} event with Sofi Tucker at 449 Main St., Rockland, Maine.

Linked together with bulb safety pins, these wood and vellum frames sway together in the ambient air currents. The piece draws from the ocean view out the back windows of the space, where ice sheets along the shore line were beginning to break apart as the late winter thawed into spring. An event to celebrate the emergence of spring from the long, frozen winter.
