These thread pieces began with an interest in perception and how we move through a space. What draws our attention, what things do we notice easily, and what are we completely blind to. How does the architecture of a space affect this?

Built with needles and thread sewn into the walls, these installations were designed to be site-specific and work with the seasonal ambience of a room. Perception, it would seem, depends as much on light and color as on physical space.
